TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:  Psalm 19:1

TODAY’S MESSAGE:

I was talking with a friend the other day about the Big Bang Theory and other scientific topics, and she was surprised that as a Christian I don’t dismiss it. I told her that it was entirely possible, and that God was the only one capable of causing such a phenomenon.

According to the Big Bang Theory, nothing existed but an endless void. Suddenly an infinitely hot and dense spot called the “singularity” appeared and the resulting explosion created the entire universe. When asked how that singularity came into being, scientists say it was put there by “an unimaginable power.”  That power has a name: God!

Science has actually supported the Bible on many occasions. It’s almost as if the Bible tells us what God did, and science shows us how He did it. It lets us marvel even more at the beauty of His creation.
