WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHRISTIAN RESOURCE?
Besides the Bible, or course, I would have to say Got Questions website. They have been such a wealth of information that I have offered them my services and for the past year I’ve been volunteering to help answer questions that are submitted to them. http://www.gotquestions.org
WHAT MADE YOU START BLOGGING?
It’s a crazy reason, I know, but at first it seemed like everyone was doing it so I decided to give it a try. Now I find it’s the perfect way to share with other Christian women. I wanted to address our daily lives at home and with the kids, as well as with our husbands and outside the home.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ASPECT OF BLOGGING?
I love when someone tells me my posts touched their lives.
WHAT MINISTRY ARE YOU MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT?
My Proverbs 31 Life Ministry is brand new and will hopefully do much good in my community as it grows. Proverbs 31 Lifestyles is a way to share the day to day life we live as Christian wives and mothers.
HOW HAS YOUR LIFE CHANGED SINCE BEGINNING YOUR BLOG?
In researching blog posts I always learn a little more about Jesus, by world, and life. My book sales have increased, too.
WHAT WAYS HAVE YOU BEEN ABLE TO USE YOUR BLOG TO PROMOTE YOUR FAITH?
When I talk to complete strangers, it’s helpful to have a blog to direct them to, and my Facebook page followers always know where to find my latest posts. They like how it’s a mix of recipes, housework tips and fashion, all from Christian point of view.Problem is, they read all the posts but they don’t sign up to follow the blog!
WHO IS THE MOST INFLUENTIAL CHRISTIAN LEADER THAT HAS IMPACTED YOUR LIFE AND HOW?
If you mean people I personally know that would be David Illman, my pastor when I was a teenager, and +Deborah Vaughan, my Archbishop.
IF YOU COULD SHARE SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF THAT MANY PEOPLE DON’T KNOW, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I am terribly insecure about driving at night, even at my age!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SONG CURRENTLY?
I really had to think about that because I’m not really into current music. But lately I’ve been thinking back to 1973 and playing Day by Day from Godspell.
HOW DO YOU RELAX?
Dave and I like to take long walks in the evening and watch old black and white movies on TV.
WHAT IS YOUR GOAL FOR YOUR BLOG IN THE COMING YEARS?
To get more actual followers, to continue to post, and hopefully to touch lives. But, most importantly, to glorify Jesus.
